The origins of our Meredith families were in Queen's County, Ireland, now County Laois.
Samuel MEREDITH is the earliest known ancestor for this branch for whom we have documentary evidence. He was born ca. 1804, and lived between 1830 and 1877 at Ballyduff, Moyanna Parish, Queen's Co., Ireland. He died on 29 February 1896. He is thought to have been the son of Thomas MEREDITH, who lived at 'The Oak'. Other Meredith families from Queen's County, who may be related, are documented on the Irish Merediths website.
The names of specific persons in this Family Line can be found in the Surname Index.
