George Peter HEBBERT was born on 16 April 1822. He and Harriett RAMSEY were married on 2 December 1844 in Delhi, India.2 He died on 19 November 1847, at age 25, in Upper Assam, India.3
George Peter Hebbert was a First Lieutenant in the Honourable Company’s Bengal Engineers. He was a student at the East India College, Addiscombe and gained his commission in Dec 1841. He fought in several battles in India and gained two medals and two clasps as decorations for his services. He was appointed Executive Engineer of Upper Assam in April 1847 shortly before his death. He was buried in Upper Assam, his headstone being "erected by his poor bereaved and disconsolate widow, H.H."3,4

In the 1861 census Charles Hebbert was a Merchants Cashier living at 12 Ovington Terrace, Kensington. His death is possibly recorded in the Registration Index as Charles Hibbert in 1878 Q1.4,5

Biography

Highgate Henry PHILLIPS-CONN was born in 1841 in Co Cavan, Ireland. He and Fanny MEREDITH were married on 4 May 1870 in Edgbaston Church, Warwickshire.1 He died in 1917, at age ~76.2
Highgate Henry Phillips was an M.A., and M.D. of Dublin University, and a J.P. He served as Surgeon-Captain in the Royal Army Medical Corps and the 44th (East Essex) Regt. He succeeded to the Mount Ida estates, Co. Kilkenny/Waterford, in 1893, on the death of his uncle by marriage, the late John Lambly Conn, and by Royal Licence 4 July, 1894 he assumed the additional surname and arms of CONN, in accordance with his uncle’s will. He also succeeded to the Glenview estates on the death of his elder brother Rev. Thomas George Johnson Phillips.

Richard JUKES1

Biography

Richard JUKES and Phebe were married. He died in 1775. He was buried on 4 November 1775 in Edgbaston Church, Warwickshire.2
The occupation of Richard Jukes is unknown, but he was wealthy enough to own property in Carr’ s Lane Birmingham and in Edgbaston. It appears that he was a Dissenter, and he is most likely to be the Richard Jukes who is recorded as having led the secession from the Old Meeting House in 1747, to form the New Meeting House at Carr’s Lane in Birmingham. His will, which names his wife Phebe, was dated 18 May 1771 and was proved in Lichfield Consistory Court on 17 November 1775.1,3
