Josiah MEREDITH was born about 1688. He and Mary LOWE were married on 11 May 1718 in Ludford, Shropshire, - both of the parish of Lingen. He and Anne COOK were married on 10 August 1725 in Lingen, Herefordshire. He died in December 1735, at age ~47, in Lingen, Herefordshire. He was buried on 13 December 1735 in Lingen, Herefordshire.

Anne Cook’s maiden name is known from (a) the 1724 will of her 1st husband Peter Owen, who made bequests to his sisters-in-law whom he names as Mary Cook and Margaret Cook; (b) the 1739 will of Margaret Cook who refers to he as Ann Meredith, widow.
The 1739 will of her mother Margaret Cook bequeathed Ann a house in Presteign and all goods and chattels, bills, bonds and debts or sums owing.
The will of Ann Meredith of Lingen dated 28 February 1784 was proved on 28 May 1784 at Hereford. Probate was granted to Ann, the wife of William Stephens, and Josiah Meredith. The will made the following bequests:

Biography
Littleton Lowe MEREDITH was born about 1760. He and Mary WILLIAMS were married on 16 May 1788 in St. Stephen, Old Radnor. He died in July 1830, at age ~70. He was buried on 19 July 1830 in Lingen, Herefordshire.1

Biography
Josiah Cook MEREDITH was born about 1765. He and Mary PITT were married on 15 June 1786 in St Mary Woolnoth, London. He died about 1791, at age ~26.
Josiah Meredith was bequeathed £10 in the will of Anne Meredith, dated 1784, and was described as the son of Anne’s son John.
He was admitted as a Freeman of the City of London, in the Company of Wheelwrights, on 13 March 1788. The admission papers described him as a Vintner and the son of John Meredith of Shobdon, Farmer.
His will was dated 5 May 1790 and proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury on 17 Sep 1791. It gave his address as Long Lane West Smithfield, London and made the following bequests:
- Margaret Meredith, sister, £10
- William Meredith, brother, £10 in case of death of the above Margaret
- George Herbert, son of Thomas Herbert, £10
- Anne Herbert, mother of the above George and wife of Thomas Herbert, Printer of Well Yard, Little Britain, in case of death of the above George
- Mary Meredith, wife, residue of estate and sole Executrix.1

Biography
Bowen Dunn MEREDITH was born about 1782. He and Hannah WEBB were married on 18 December 1810 in St Mary Whitechapel. He died in February 1837, at age ~55. He was buried on 5 February 1837 in St Mary Whitechapel.1
Bowen Dunn was a Grocer of Whitechapel Road, London.
