Joseph Pattison was a farmer. He is possibly the Joseph Pattison who was recorded in Griffith’s Valuation of 1851 as having a house and land at Cappalane, Rosenallis parish. Peter Stephenson, who is possibly his daughter in-law’s brother, had an adjacent plot of land there.¹

     Mary Elizabeth STEPHENSON was born circa 1852.² She married Robert PATTISON, son of Joseph PATTISON and UNNAMED (-), on 31 August 1881 in Rosenallis Church, Queen’s Co., Ireland; witnesses Bessie Hall and Joseph Meredith.³ She died in 1921 in Mountmellick Registration District, Queen’s County, Ireland.⁴

     Joseph William PATTISON was born on 28 December 1886 in Rosenallis, Queen’s Co., Ireland.¹ He married Katherine Eunice KENNEDY. He died in May 1975 in Port Austin, Huron, MI, USA, at age 88.¹

     Marie Barrington PATTISON was born circa 1890.¹ She died on 22 July 1982 in St. Vincent’s Hospital, Mountmellick.² She was buried on 24 July 1982 in The Friends Burial Ground, Rosenallis, Co. Laois.²

     Thomas Henry MEREDITH was born on 1 September 1918 in Togher, Queen's County, Ireland. He was christened on 16 November 1918 in St Peter's Church, Maryborough, Queen's County. He died on 6 September 1995 in St. Vincent’s Hospital, Mountmellick, at age 77.¹ He was buried on 9 September 1995 in St. Paul’s churchyard, Mountmellick.¹
     
Thomas Henry was the son of Thomas Henry Meredith and Frances (Fanny) Kate Porter. He was one of 13 children but he was the only son to marry.      Katherine Eunice KENNEDY was born on 31 May 1895 in Michigan, USA.¹ She married Joseph William PATTISON, son of Robert PATTISON and Mary Elizabeth STEPHENSON. She died on 1 June 1989 in Manistee, Michigan, at age 94.¹

     Benjamin William STEPHENSON was born in 1887 in Mountmellick Registration District, Queen’s County, Ireland.² He married Alice (-) in 1916.² He died on 8 December 1957.^2,3

     Robert Reid STEPHENSON was born in 1920. He died on 15 May 2000 in General Hospital, Tullamore.¹ He was buried on 17 May 2000 in The Friends Burial Ground, Rosenallis, Co. Laois.¹
