     Abraham THOMPSON was born circa 1837. He was christened on 30 July 1837 in Ballyfin, Clonenagh Parish, Mountrath.¹ He married Susan MEREDITH on 27 March 1871 in St Peter's Church, Dublin; witnesses George Worrell and Esther Meredith.² He died on 22 February 1923 in Irey, Ballyfin, Queen’s Co. Ireland.³

     Robert THOMPSON was born on 8 November 1840.¹ He was christened on 17 January 1841 in Ballyfin, Clonenagh Parish, Mountrath.¹

     James THOMPSON was born on 14 December 1845.¹ He was christened on 18 January 1846 in Ballyfin, Clonenagh Parish, Mountrath.¹

     Edward THOMPSON was born on 21 September 1850.¹ He was christened on 31 October 1850 in Ballyfin, Clonenagh Parish, Mountrath.¹

     William THOMPSON was born circa 1830. He was christened on 17 January 1830 in Ballyfin, Clonenagh Parish, Mountrath.¹

     Margaret Elizabeth Chard BARRER was born on 23 January 1923 in 162 Hawthorne Road, Bootle.¹ She died in 1923 in West Derby Registration District, England.²

     Mary Elizabeth WILKINSON was born circa 1859 in Queens County, Ireland.¹ She married William STUART on 1 August 1882 in Coolbanagher Parish Church, Queen’s County; witnesses Susan E. Meredith and George Wilkinson.²
     
Mary Elizabeth Stuart nee Wilkinson was recorded in the 1901 Ireland census as the head of household at Rathleague, Maryborough, Queen’s Co. She was described as a farmer, widow, aged 42. Enumerated in the same household were her daughters Hannah Frances (aged 17), Olive A.M. (14), and Georgina L. (9) and son William A. (6), as well as her mother Anne Wilkinson (widow, aged 71), sister in law Charlotte Stuart (unmarried, aged 71) and one servant. She emigrated to the USA via Canada on the ship Megantic in August 1910, together with her daughters Frances and Georgina, son William and mother Ann Wilkinson. Her next of kin in Ireland was recorded as Mr Onions, Borris House, Maryborough.^2,3

     William STUART married Mary Elizabeth WILKINSON, daughter of George WILKINSON and Anne LUTTRELL, on 1 August 1882 in Coolbanagher Parish Church, Queen’s County; witnesses Susan E. Meredith and George Wilkinson.¹ He died before April 1901.
     
William was a farmer living at Killimy in 1882. He was the son of Benjamin Stuart, also a farmer.¹

     Hannah Frances STUART was born circa 1884 in Queens County, Ireland.¹ She married Francis G. ELLIS.
     
She is possibly the “Hannah Steward” whose birth was registered in 1883 in Mountmellick Registration District.

     Olive A. M. STUART was born circa 1887 in Queens County, Ireland.

     William Albert STUART was born on 1 July 1894 in Queens County, Ireland.² He married Una Estelle HODGKINSON circa 1924.³ He died in 1956 in Seattle, Washington, USA.⁴
     
According to his petition for naturalisation in the USA, William Albert Stuart emigrated from Montreal, Canada to the United States in August 1910, arriving in East Port, Idaho on the 20th of that month. Subsequently he resided in Washington State. He was recorded in the 1920 US census in Seattle, on different days, in the household of his brother Charles George Stuart and his sister Frances Hannah Ellis nee Stuart. In 1930 he was enumerated in Seattle as the head of household with his wife and son.^2,5,3

     Charles George STUART was born on 17 November 1884 in Queens County, Ireland.¹ He married Dorothy (-).
     
Charles George Stuart emigrated to the USA in 1909 on the ship Lake Manitoba from Liverpool to St. John’s, and thence to Eastport, Idaho via Canada. The passenger list described him as a Marine Engineer, his mother’s address was given as Rathleague House, Maryborough, and his destination was to a friend John Scott in Wenatchee, Washington. He was recorded in the 1920 US census as the head of household in Seattle, with his wife, daughter, son and brother. In the 1930 US census he was recorded at Sitka, Alaska with his wife, daughter and son.^1,2,3,4

     Dorothy (-) was born circa 1892 in Glastonbury, England.¹ She married Charles George STUART, son of William STUART and Mary Elizabeth WILKINSON.

     Una Estelle HODGKINSON was born in England.¹ She married William Albert STUART, son of William STUART and Mary Elizabeth WILKINSON, circa 1924.² She died in Bremerton, Washington, USA.¹

     William Norman STUART was born on 3 April 1926 in Seattle, Washington, USA.¹ He died on 13 December 1977 in Poulsbo, Kitsap, Washington, USA, at age 51.¹

     Francis G. ELLIS was born circa 1876 in Ireland. He married Hannah Frances STUART, daughter of William STUART and Mary Elizabeth WILKINSON.

     Ann WILKINSON was born circa 1855. She married John FURLONG on 22 October 1873 in Maryborough Parish Church, Queen’s County; witnesses Joseph Wilkinson and William Furlong.¹
     
Ann Wilkinson was 18 at the time of her marriage in 1873, and living at Ballycarnan, Maryborough. She was a daughter of Jeremiah Wilkinson and, it is assumed, his first wife.¹
