     George WILKINSON was born circa 1846 in Queen’s Co., Ireland. He married Margaret WILKINSON on 1 June 1887 in Coolbanagher Parish Church, Queen’s County.¹ He married Alice LARKE on 19 November 1900 in Cloneyhurke Church, King’s County.² He died on 23 March 1917.³
     
George Wilkinson enlisted in the Royal Irish Constabulary in 1866, aged 20. His marriage certificate in 1887 described him as a Pensioner R.I.C., living at Coolbanagher. He was enumerated in the 1901 census as the head of household at Lough, Ballybrittas, Queen’s Co., and described as a Farmer, aged 53, born in Queen’s County. Enumerated in the same household were his wife Alice (aged 31), daughter Georgina (13), and sons Robert (9) and John (7).

The father of George Wilkinson was Thomas Wilkinson, a Farmer, but the association with the Thomas born bef. 1808 is only speculative.⁴

Alice Larke was the daughter of Henry Larke, a Farmer. In the 1911 census she was described as having had no children.^1,2

He was buried on 23 June 1901 in Maryborough, Queen's County.

He married Anna Maud METCALFE, daughter of Edward George METCALFE and Georgina Maud WILKINSON, on 30 May 1955 in St Peter's Church, Portlaoise, County Laois.¹ He died on 6 August 1985 in Sycamore Road, Finglas, County Dublin, at age 69. He was buried on 8 August 1985 in St Peter's Church, Portlaoise, County Laois.
