Robert Onions was the son of Robert Onions (who died 14 May 1819) and Susannah Proctor; they married in December 1776. He was living in Borris at the time of his marriage in 1832.³

She was christened on 17 May 1807 in Coolbanagher Parish Church, Queen’s County.² She married Robert ONIONS on 20 July 1832 in Coolbanagher Parish Church, Queen’s County; witnesses William Clarke and Thomas Turpin.² She married John BALDWIN, son of David BALDWIN and Charlotte (-), on 23 August 1851 in Dysart Enos Church, Queen’s County, Ireland; witnesses Thomas Turpin, Robert Clarke.³
     
Elizabeth Clarke was living at Emo and at Maryborough at the time of her marriages in 1832 and 1851 respectively. She was the daughter of George and Esther Clarke of Killimy, Coolbanagher.⁴

John Baldwin was living at Raheenduff at the time of his 2nd marriage in 1851, and described as a Gentleman. He was the son of David Baldwin, a gentleman. The identity of his first wife is not known.

     George Clarke ONIONS was born in 1839.² He died before 1874.²

     Samuel WILKINSON was born on 9 September 1852.² He married Emily WILKINSON, daughter of Jeremiah WILKINSON and Sarah LUTTRELL, on 10 June 1885 in Maryborough Parish Church; the witnesses were Anne Cullen and Jeremiah Wilkinson.³ He married Sarah Jane CLAXTON on 22 September 1898 in Ballyroan Church; the witnesses were James Galbraith and Rachel Frances Claxton.⁴ He died on 25 March 1922 in Colt, Abbeyleix, at age 69.⁵ He was buried in St. John’s Churchyard, Coolbanagher.⁶

     Sarah Jane CLAXTON was born circa 1878.³ She married Samuel WILKINSON, son of James WILKINSON and Anne MEREDITH, on 22 September 1898 in Ballyroan Church; the witnesses were James Galbraith and Rachel Frances Claxton.⁴ She died on 29 January 1961.⁵
     
Sarah Jane Claxton was the daughter of Richard Claxton, a farmer. She was living at Ballyroan at the time of her marriage. She was recorded in the 1911 census as having been married for 12 years, with 3 children all still alive.⁴

     Thomas WILKINSON was born circa 1901. He married Elizabeth Mabel (May) GRAHAM, daughter of John GRAHAM and Rebecca THOMPSON, in 1933 in Mountmellick Registration District.² He died on 4 November 1970 in Abbeyleix Hospital.³ He was buried on 6 November 1970 in Abbeyleix Churchyard.³

     George WILKINSON was born circa 1900. He married Harriett WILKINSON, daughter of John William WILKINSON and Rachel Frances CLAXTON. He died before December 1974.²

     Richard WILKINSON was born circa 1904. He died on 9 September 1968 in London, England.² He was buried on 13 September 1968 in Mount Jerome Cemetery.²

Annie Wilkinson was the eldest daughter of Samuel Wilkinson of Colt, Ballyroan.¹

     Henry WHITEFORD was born circa 1868.² He married Annie WILKINSON, daughter of Samuel WILKINSON and Emily WILKINSON, on 2 June 1910 in Ballyroan Church.¹ He died on 31 March 1952 in Violet Hill, Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny.³ He was buried on 2 April 1952 in St. Mary’s Churchyard, Johnstown.
     
Henry Whiteford was a farmer from Capponellan, Durrow. He was the son of Carter Whitford and Anne Wall. The family surname is spelt Whitford in some of the records.⁴

     Elizabeth Mabel (May) GRAHAM was born in 1910.³ She married Thomas WILKINSON, son of Samuel WILKINSON and Sarah Jane CLAXTON, in 1933 in Mountmellick Registration District.¹ She died on 11 March 1976 in County Hospital, Portloaise.⁴ She was buried on 13 March 1976 in Abbeyleix Methodist Churchyard.⁴

     William WHITFORD married Mary Anne LUTTRELL, daughter of Richard LUTTRELL, on 17 April 1852 in Registrar’s Office, Mountmellick; witnesses Henry Odlum and Mary Rice.² He died on 28 November 1874.³

She was christened on 7 September 1834 in Ballyfin, Clonenagh Parish.² She married John WILKINSON, son of John WILKINSON and Anne LUTTRELL, on 8 September 1859 in Dysart Enos Church, Queen’s County, Ireland.¹ She died on 27 December 1873 in Colt, Queen’s County.³
     
Esther Meredith was the daughter of Thomas Meredith and was living at Killowen at the time of her marriage in 1859. She is almost certainly the Hester Meredith who was one of the 16 children of Thomas Meredith and Rebecca Pattison of Cappagh and who was born ca. 1834.^1,2

     Susanna WILKINSON was born circa 1828.² She married Andrew Going GALBRAITH, son of George GALBRAITH, on 31 May 1861 in Roskelton Church, Queen’s County; the witnesses were Jeremiah Wilkinson and Eleanor Lutterell.¹ She died in 1905 in Abbeyleix Registration District, Ireland.²
     
Susanna Wilkinson was the daughter of John Wilkinson, a farmer. She was living at Colt at the time of her marriage in 1861. She is assumed to be the daughter of the John Wilkinson who was enumerated at Colt in the 1850 Griffith’s Valuation, although there is no direct evidence for this.¹

     Andrew Going GALBRAITH was born circa 1841.² He married Susanna WILKINSON, daughter of John WILKINSON and Anne LUTTRELL, on 31 May 1861 in Roskelton Church, Queen’s County; the witnesses were Jeremiah Wilkinson and Eleanor Lutterell.¹ He died in 1927 in Abbeyleix Registration District, Ireland.³
     
Andrew Going Galbraith was a farmer, and the son of George Galbraith, also a farmer. He was enumerated in the 1901 census at Colt, with his wife Susan and son James. He was recorded at Colt in the 1911 census as a widower, and his son James and daughter in law Jane were in the same household.¹

     Harriet WILKINSON was born in 1832.² She married Thomas THOMPSON, son of John THOMPSON and Rebecca MEREDITH, on 7 February 1861 in Roskelton Church, Queen’s County.¹ She died in 1902.²

     Abraham THOMPSON was born in 1904.³ He married Rebecca FAWCETT in 1939 in Mountmellick Registration District.⁴ He died in 1973.³

     John William THOMPSON was born in 1862.³ He married Frances WATSON in 1892 in Mountmellick Registration District.⁴ He died on 3 May 1951 in Cappalough, Geashill.^5,6 He was buried on 5 May 1951 in Ballyfin Churchyard, Queen’s County, Ireland.⁶
