Tipperary; witnesses William Jackson and William Jackson Junior.² He died on 27 December 1940 in Cappakeel, Portarlington, Co. Laois, at age 78.³ He was buried on 29 December 1940 in St John’s Church of Ireland, Coolbanagher.^4,3
     
George Wilkinson was a Farmer. He was living at Cappakeel, New Inn, Monasterevan in 1891 at the time of his marriage. He was enumerated in the 1911 census at Cappakeel, Emo, Queen’s County.⁵

     Thomas WILKINSON was born circa 1858.¹ He married Ellen CARTER, daughter of Robert CARTER, on 1 June 1882 in Coolbanagher Parish Church, Queen’s County; the witnesses were [illegible] Chambers and Charles Cox.²
     
Thomas Wilkinson was the son of Thomas Wilkinson. His parents are assumed to be Thomas Wilkinson and Catherine Luttrell although this is unproven. He was a farmer living at Killimy at the time of his marriage in 1882. He was enumerated in the 1911 census at Killimy, Emo, Queen’s County, and described as a Farmer, aged 52.^2,3

      WILKINSON died after March 1976.

     Edward WILKINSON was born on 8 August 1860.² He married Louise BALDWIN on 23 June 1891 in Roskelton Church, Queen’s County.¹
     
Edward was the sixth son of James Wilkinson of Ballytarsna.¹

Louise was the eldest surviving daughter of George Baldwin of Mountrath.¹

     Francis Glover CRAWFORD was born on 24 August 1866 in Ireland.^2,3 He was christened on 6 January 1867 in Maryborough Methodist Church.³ He married Mary (Maria) WILKINSON, daughter of James WILKINSON and Anne MEREDITH, in 1889 in Abbeyleix Registration District, Ireland.¹ He died on 29 June 1946 at age 79.⁴
     
Francis Glover Crawford was the son of Benjamin and Jane Crawford. He was described in the 1901 census of Canada as F.G. Crawford, a Clerk, aged 34, born 24 Aug 1866, living in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was enumerated with his wife Marie Crawford (aged 32, born 17 May 1868), his sister Ruby Crawford (born 23 Oct 1880) and a lodger Hugh Freeman. He had emigrated to Canada with his wife in 1893. They are enumerated in the 1911 and 1916 censuses of Canada, still at Winnipeg, by which time he is described as a manager of a Warehouse, with one servant. Their nephew Claude Peirce is enumerated with them also. Francis Crawford was living at Lindsay street, Winnipeg at the time of his death in 1946.^3,4

     Rebecca JACKSON was born circa 1860 in King’s Co., Ireland.^1,3 She married (-) ARMSTRONG. She married George WILKINSON, son of James WILKINSON and Anne MEREDITH, on 10 November 1891 in St. Thomas’s Church, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary; witnesses William Jackson and William Jackson Junior.⁴ She died on 28 July 1913 in Cappakeel, New Inn, Monasteverin.^1,2 She was buried in St John’s Church of Ireland, Coolbanagher.¹
     
Rebecca was the eldest daughter of William Jackson of Goldengrove, Roscrea.²

     James WILKINSON was born circa 1893 in Queen’s Co., Ireland. He married Maria (Mollie) LUTTRELL, daughter of Edward LUTTRELL and Anne WILKINSON, in 1925 in Mountmellick Registration District.² He died on 4 July 1976 in Cappakeel, Queen’s County.^3,4 He was buried on 6 July 1976 in St. John’s churchyard, Coolbanagher.^4,3

     Susan WILKINSON was born circa 1902 in Queen’s Co., Ireland. She married Beven MONCRIEF in 1926 in Dublin South Registration District.² She died on 31 January 1989 in Oaklands Nursing Home, Bray.³ She was buried on 2 February 1989 in Kilbride Churchyard, Arklow.³

     Jeremiah WILKINSON was born before 1825. He married ?- (-) before 1843. He married Sarah LUTTRELL on 25 August 1855 in Lea Parish Church, Queen’s County; the witnesses were Richard Luttrell and Thomas Meredith.¹
     
He is assumed to be the Jeremiah Wilkinson of Ballycarnan listed in 1850 in Griffiths Valuation of Ireland. He was described as a widower of Ballycarna and son of Edward Wilkinson on the certificate of his marriage to Sarah Luttrell.

     Susan WILKINSON was born on 1 February 1871.² She married Thomas Henry PEIRCE on 2 November 1892 in Abbeyleix Church of Ireland.^3,1 She died on 13 November 1962 in Dublin nursing home at age 91.⁴ She was buried on 15 November 1962 in St. Mary’s Church, Castlecomer.⁴
     
Susan (Tudie) Wilkinson was the second youngest daughter of James Wilkinson of Ballytarsna. According to the 1911 census she had 9 children but only 5 were still living in 1911. In 1938 she was living at 24 Gilford Road, Sandymount, Dublin.^1,5

     Thomas Henry PEIRCE was born circa 1856 in Co. Westmeath.³ He married Susan WILKINSON, daughter of James WILKINSON and Anne MEREDITH, on 2 November 1892 in Abbeyleix Church of Ireland.^4,1 He died before 1938.
     
Thomas Peirce was from Castlecomer. He is described in the 1911 census as a Shopkeeper and Farmer living at High Street, Castelcomer, Co. Kilkenny.³

     John Ernest PEIRCE was born on 1 January 1901 in Co. Kilkenny.^1,2 He married Gladys May THOMPSON in 1922 in Barrow-in-Furness Registration District.³ He died on 27 June 1973 in USA at age 72.²
     
John Ernest Peirce emigrated to the USA shortly after his marriage, arriving in Boston on the “Andania” on 14 Mar 1923. In 1930 he was enumerated in the US census as a Mechanical Engineer in the Color and Dyes Industry, living at Melrose Avenue, North Arlington, New Jersey.^4,5

     Edward Alexander PEIRCE was born circa 1903 in Co. Kilkenny.¹ He married Nancy CRYER in 1936 in Keighley Registration District, England.³ He died in 1961.²

     Eileen Marie PEIRCE was born circa 1909 in Co. Kilkenny.¹ She married Hugh Hilliard McCULLAGH on 8 June 1938 in St. Mary’s Church, Donnybrook.² She died on 18 July 2005 in Curragh Lawn Nursing Home, Kilcullen.³ She was buried on 20 July 2005 in St. Mary’s Church, Castlecomer.³

     Gladys May THOMPSON was born on 7 October 1900 in England.¹ She married John Ernest PEIRCE, son of Thomas Henry PEIRCE and Susan WILKINSON, in 1922 in Barrow-in-Furness Registration District.² She died on 17 September 1975 in USA at age 74.¹
