     Margaret JONES married Henry George MEREDITH, son of Joseph MEREDITH and Charlotte GEORGE, in 1918.² She died on 11 June 1950 in Southfield House, Athy.³ She was buried on 13 June 1950 in Ballintubbert Church.
     
The death of Margaret Meredith nee Jones was reported in the Irish Times as follows:
“MEREDITH - June 11, 1950, Margaret, beloved wife of the late H.G. Meredith, Southfield House, Athy. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing family. Funeral leaving house 4 p.m. to Ballintubbert Church to-morrow (Tuesday). “The day Thou gavest, Lord, is ended””.

     Sydney Jones MEREDITH was born in 1926.² She married Charles Moore STEPHENS in 1947 in Mountmellick Registration District, Queen’s County, Ireland.³ She died on 30 August 1972 in Baggot Street Hospital.⁴ She was buried on 1 September 1972 in Christchurch, Gorey.⁴

     Joseph Henry MEREDITH was born in 1928.² He died on 21 April 1984 in Southfield House, Ballintubbert, Athy.³ He was buried on 23 April 1984 in Ballintubbert Church cemetery.

     Abigail Annie MEREDITH was born circa 1921.² She died on 27 June 1982 in Coolrain House, Carlow.³ She was buried on 29 June 1982 in Killeshin Church.³

     Eliza GODSELL was born on 8 May 1833.^2,3 She married Peter KEEGAN on 7 July 1852 in Cullen, Tipperary.⁴ She died on 29 April 1923 at age 89.³ She was buried in St John’s Church of Ireland, Coolbanagher.³
     
Eliza was the daughter of Edward Godsell, a Land Steward. She was enumerated in the 1911 census at Coolnavarnoge, Emo. Queen’s Co., and described as a retired teacher, widow, aged 77, born in Co. Tipperary. Her granddaughter Eliza aged 12 born in Queen’s Co. was enumerated in the same household.⁵

     Margaret Anne KEEGAN was born in 1855. She died on 11 November 1942 in Coolagh Cottage, Portarlington.²

     Elizabeth Catherine KEEGAN was born on 4 July 1864 in Killane, Co. Wexford.² She died on 3 February 1953 in Coolagh Cottage, Portarlington, at age 88.³

     Alfred William KEEGAN was born on 22 September 1866 in Wexford, Ireland.² He died on 10 June 1958 in Corning, Steuben County, New York, USA, at age 91.¹

     Thomas Henry KEEGAN was born on 21 February 1869 in Killanne, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, Ireland.² He married Elizabeth J. BLACK. He died on 18 September 1938 in Coolagh Cottage, Portarlington, at age 69.³ He was buried in Coolbanagher.
     
According to his U.S. passport application, Thomas Henry Keegan emigrated to the United States on 26 July 1892, sailing from Liverpool, and he resided at Corning, New York until 1912. He was naturalised as a U.S. citizen on 5 Oct 1897. He lived in Newtownbarry in Ireland from 1912 to 1918 and in New Ross, Ireland from 1918 to 1920. In 1923 he was a clerk living in Hilsboro Avenue, Detroit.

     John Alexander KEEGAN was born circa 1855. He married Sarah Anne FITZWILLIAM on 27 April 1880.² He married Annie Isobella COOTE on 12 July 1897 in St. Mary’s Church, Mohill.¹ He died on 11 September 1931 in Carrickmacross.
     
John Alexander Keegan was a Head Constable in the Royal Irish Constabulary. He enlisted on 6 May 1872, and served in Wicklow, Cork E.R., Down, Leitrim and Kilkenny. He was promoted to Acting Constable on 1 May 1880, Constable on 2 Dec 1880 and Head Constable on 1 Mar 1895. He was pensioned on 16 Mar 1906. He was enumerated in the 1901 census at Piltown, Kilkenny, and in the 1911 census at Newtown, Ballintemple, Co. Carlow in which he was described as an Estate Clerk.^2,3

     Sarah Anne FITZWILLIAM was born in 1857. She married John Alexander KEEGAN, son of Peter KEEGAN and Eliza GODSELL, on 27 April 1880.² She died in 1895 in Fermoy Registration District, Ireland.³

     Annie Isobella COOTE was born in 1874 in Co. Leitrim.² She married John Alexander KEEGAN, son of Peter KEEGAN and Eliza GODSELL, on 12 July 1897 in St. Mary’s Church, Mohill.¹ She died on 14 October 1967 in Dublin.²

     Elizabeth KEEGAN was born circa 1862.² She married John Henry PATTISON on 29 November 1899 in All Saints Church, Raheny, Co. Dublin; witnesses William Pattison, Peter Keegan and Kate E. Keegan.³ She died on 18 February 1946 in Killone, Strabally, Co. Laois.⁴

     John Henry PATTISON was born circa 1862. He married Elizabeth KEEGAN, daughter of Peter KEEGAN and Eliza GODSELL, on 29 November 1899 in All Saints Church, Raheny, Co. Dublin; witnesses William Pattison, Peter Keegan and Kate E. Keegan.² He died on 23 January 1932 in Killone, Stradbally.³ He was buried on 25 January 1932 in St. John’s Churchyard, Coolbanagher.³
     
John Henry Pattison was the son of William Pattison. He was living at Killone at the time of his marriage in 1899 and was described as a farmer. He was enumerated at Killone in the 1901 census (as Patterson), together with his wife Elizabeth, son John William (aged 5 months), uncle John (aged 93) and 3 servants. He was recorded in the 1911 census, again at Killone, with his wife Elizabeth and sons John William (aged 10) and Charles Henry (aged 6).²

     John William PATTISON was born in 1900. He died on 5 April 1918.³ He was buried in St. John’s Churchyard, Coolbanagher.³

     Elizabeth Jane (Lily) PATTISON was born circa 1903.
     
Lily Pattison was enumerated in the 1911 census in the household of her aunt Margaret A. Keegan at Rahney North, Howth, Co. Dublin.²

     Charles Henry PATTISON was born in 1904.³ He married Everena Mary KANE on 1 February 1928 in Ballymote Parish Church.⁴ He died on 24 August 1981 in Ripon, Yorkshire.⁵ He was buried in Harrogate.

     Charlotte Eileen MEREDITH was born in 1919.² She died on 28 August 1944 in Dublin.³ She was buried on 30 August 1944 in Ballintubbert Church.
     
Charlotte Eileen was the eldest daughter.

     Benjamin PEISER married Abigail Maria (Abbie) MEREDITH, daughter of Joseph MEREDITH and Charlotte GEORGE, on 28 September 1906 in Griquatown, South Africa.¹
     
Benjamin Peiser, J.P. lived at Peiserton District, Hay, South Africa.

     Marjorie Winifred HOLMES married Sidney William MEREDITH, son of Joseph MEREDITH and Charlotte GEORGE, on 26 March 1940 in St Paul’s Church, Glenageary.¹ She died on 10 January 1976 in Monkstown Hospital.²
     
Marjorie Holmes was living at 69 Albert road, Glenageary at the time of her marriage in 1940 to Sydney William Meredith. She was at 21 St Catherine’s Park, Glenageary, in 1976. She appears to have had two children Frank and George from a previous marriage.²

     Benjamin CRAWFORD married Jane METCALFE, daughter of Robert METCALFE and Jane Alice LANGFORD, on 22 March 1864 in St. Peter’s Church, Dublin.¹
