It is believed that Margaret Susan is the person known to her family as 'Gretta'. She may have been the Margaret Winters whose death was registered in Dublin in 1946 Q2 aged 55.¹

     George Henry WINTERS was born on 15 January 1899 in Dublin, Ireland.^1,2 He was christened on 8 February 1899 in St. Matthias’s Church, Dublin.² He married Norah PATTERSON on 21 December 1921 in Baggotrath Church Of Ireland, Dublin; witnesses Charles, William and Eileen Patterson.³ He died on 6 October 1962 in Hayes Cottage Hospital, Middlesex, at age 63.⁴

He appeared on the census of April 1911 in the household of Jane Waddell in 44 Haddington Road, Dublin, Ireland, in which he was described as George Henry Winters, son, Church of Ireland, able to read & write, aged 12, male, scholar, born in Dublin.
He was employed by Messrs. Stokes, Brothers and Pim, chartered accountants, College Green, Dublin. He was a Lance-Corporal in the Royal Dublin Fusiliers during WW1, and while attached to the Royal Irish regiment he was severely wounded in action on 2 September 1918. He was a clerk in the Ministry of Pensions living at 44 Haddington Road, Dublin at the time of his marriage in 1921. After moving to England he worked as an Executive Officer at the Board of Trade.^1,5,6,3,7

     Robert James WADDELL was born circa 1881 in Co. Tipperary, Ireland.¹ He married Maude Rita CHAMBERS circa 1907.² He died on 9 November 1949.³

Enumerated in the same household were his wife Maude Rita (aged 32), two sons Cyril (aged 3) and Leslie (aged 2), mother in law Margaret Chambers (aged 65) and two servants.^4,2

It seems likely that she is the Margaret Barrer named in the 1933 will of Rev. William Foster Legge as his housekeeper, and to whom he bequeather £200. It is also likely that she is the Miss Margaret Barrer whose death was announced in 1954, and who was described as late of Donaghpatrick Rectory, Navan, Co. Meath.^2,3,1

Kerry, Ireland.¹ She married William SHUMMACHER, son of Jacob SHOEMAKER and Elizabeth LYONS, on 27 July 1874 in Church of Ireland, Knockane, Co. Kerry, Ireland.¹ She died on 7 January 1913 in 16 Millmount Place, Dublin, Ireland, at age 65.¹
