1911 Ireland Census - RIC Barracks in Antrim

Many of us with ancestors in the Royal Irish Constabulary are interested in finding their entries in the 1911 census, but this is not straightforward:

• RIC members are often identified by their initials only
• while the county in which they were serving may be known, the location of their barracks in 1911 may not be
• it is not possible to search for RIC barracks in the online 1911 census

As a finding aid, this website collects together the summary of RIC members serving in various barracks across County Antrim - note however that this may not be a complete list.

All the information is merged together in the first link, in one scrollable list. Subsequent links present information for the barracks at a particular location. Each page is hyperlinked to the corresponding census images on the National Archives of Ireland website. The data on each page is as transcribed on their website, presented in expanded form to show all information.
